VALORIE E. JENNINGS
Principal /Senior Consultant
Valorie Jennings is an experienced consultant, seminar facilitator, corporate coach, and personal coach with particular emphasis in executive, workplace, and women’s issues; organization effectiveness; leadership; career transition; and diversity-inclusion.
With certifications in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and curriculum design, Valorie has conducted organization assessments and facilitated numerous seminars and workshops on cultural change, personal and professional efficacy, and sexual harassment. She has consulted for Fortune 1000 companies, nonprofit organizations, and boutique businesses, and has designed learning initiatives for a broad range of corporate clients.
Valorie was a key team member in developing and writing reference materials for Advanced Research Management Consultants’ award-winning video series, Building a Diverse Workforce for the Global Millennium. She was also a contributing author to the publication, Senior Counsel: Legal and Financial Strategies for Age 50 and Beyond, C. Battle, Allworth Press.
A corporate attorney, Valorie began her legal career at the New York law firm of Mudge Rose Guthrie & Alexander, and later continued at Warner-Lambert Company where she worked as Assistant Benefits Counsel. Her move to BASF Corporation in Parsippany established her as the first in-house ERISA/employee benefits attorney in the history of the New Jersey-based international chemical company. She also served as Assistant General Counsel for the University of Pennsylvania from 1981 to 1983 where she oversaw student disciplinary hearings and represented the University on various legal matters.
Valorie holds a B.A. degree with honors in Psychology from Brown University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Psychoneurology at Barron University, Los Angeles, CA, and has undertaken coursework in the areas of Adult Career Planning and Organization Development at New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
